Lundgrens assists Sonnedix with the acquisition of a solar portfolio from Danish institutional investors

Lundgrens is proud to have assisted Sonnedix Power Holdings Limited in their acquisition of 15.7 MWp solar PV portfolio from Danish institutional investors.

Sonnedix is a global solar independent power producer (IPP) and develops, builds, owns and operates solar power plants globally, with a total controlled capacity of over 2 GW. 

The global solar power producer recently acquired a 15.7 MW solar PV portfolio in Spain, from Danish institutional investors. The acquired portfolio is comprised of a total of fifteen solar PV plants, twelve roof-top and three ground-mounted. 

In a press release from Sonnedix, Axel Thiemann, CEO of Sonnedix, says: "We continue expanding our presence in Spain, deeply committed to our social citizen role in these difficult times. We are proud to be able to contribute to the country’s energy transition and economic recovery”.

The acquisition brings the Sonnedix Spanish portfolio to a total opreational capacity of 354.9 MW.
