Professional profile 

Håkun Djurhuus is an attorney and partner in the Lundgrens’ Litigation & Arbitration department. Håkun is highly specialised within litigation, construction law and environmental law and has more than 30 years of experience advising public authorities and private businesses as well as citizens on environmental law issues.

Håkun has conducted more than 500 cases before the ordinary courts, the Danish Building and Construction Arbitration Board, the Danish Institute of Arbitration and ICC, including 24 cases before the Danish Supreme Court.

Håkun’s experience covers all key aspects of environmental law and planning and zoning law. Moreover, Håkun chaired the Danish Government’s Expropriation Committee in 2017-2018 and was a ministerial appointee to the legislative preparatory committee for modernisation of the Danish environmental and nature legislation in 2014-2017, nominated by the Danish Bar Association and the Association of Danish Law Firms.

Håkun has extensive experience in teaching and giving courses and is often asked to speak and give lectures on litigation, construction and environmental law.
