Kimbrer Computer is a Danish IT company that buys used IT equipment and resells it to, among others, data centers and companies in around 80 countries worldwide. The company has around 60 employees and was founded in 1995.
Trill Impact is a Swedish private equity firm that only invests in companies that deliver measurable improvements within the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The acquisition of Kimbrer Computer is their first in Denmark.
“We believe that circular business models like Kimbrer Computers will be crucial to achieving sustainability goals. We also believe that the market for circular IT will continue to grow. In that market, we believe Kimbrer Computers can become a European leader," says Nina Hoffmann von Holten, Director of Trill Impact's Danish investments.
