On 12 April, 2024, from 09:00 to 10:00 a.m. CEST, Lundgrens invites you to a webinar in English on the new rules for registering employees' working time and the practical implementation.
The Danish Parliament adopted a bill amending the Danish Act on Working Time on 23 January 2024, which will come into force on 1 July 2024. The new rules entail, among other things, that employers must register employees' working time.
The act introduces a requirement that employers must implement an objective, reliable, and accessible work time registration system that makes it possible to measure the daily working time for each employee. There will be complete methodological freedom regarding how the daily working time is measured and recorded. In addition, certain employees (self-organizers) can be exempted from the working time registration requirement.
We have previously written about the bill HERE.
Lundgrens is hosting a webinar in English with partner and attorney-at-law Anne Marie Abrahamson, and attorney-at-law Uzma Khan.
The webinar will cover, among other things:
- The new rules on the registration of working time, including the requirements for the work time registration system
- The possibility that certain employee groups can be exempted from the requirement of time registration
- What is defined as working time and the extent of the employer's obligations regarding the registration of each employee's working time
- The practical implementation, including the drafting of a policy on working time registration
- The current rules on rest periods, the 48-hour rule, etc.
All participants will receive a participation link the day before the webinar.
