Legal advice about setting up and maintaining portfolios on IP rights
Lundgrens’ IP team advises on strategic IP protection, e.g. when selecting new brands (business and product names) and designs. We inter alia perform freedom-to-operate analyses ensuring companies to be able to use the brand or design they have settled on. And once the choice has been made, we prepare a strategy for registrations that weigh the need for protection against the costs involved. We also offer IP Health Checks.
In addition, our IP attorneys handle opposition and revocation proceedings in Denmark and the EU, both on behalf of administrative authorities as well as courts. We represent companies directly against the EUIPO as well as the Danish Patent and Trademark Office. Outside Denmark and the EU we cooperate with leading, foreign trademark and design specialists.
