Professional profile

Alexandre is an attorney and partner in Lundgrens’ Real Estate & Construction department and advises, among others, public and private developers, Danish and foreign contractors, technical advisors and suppliers on construction matters in Danish and English.

His experience includes advice as well as and litigation and arbitration, including cases covered by the old and the new AB system (Danish General Conditions for Building and Construction Works and Supplies) as well as the international standard terms for contracts in FIDIC’s rainbow.

In addition, Alexandre also advises on various environmental law issues.

• Adviser for a foreign contractor in connection with the manufacture, transport and establishment of transformer stations at an offshore wind farm and an interconnector for a submarine cable between Denmark and Germany
• Adviser for road haulage contractor on the contract for the transportation of excavated material in connection with the construction of metro stations and metro line to Sydhavn (a suburb of Copenhagen)
• Adviser for the employer in a dispute concerning extension of time of a building in Copenhagen on app. 27,000 sqm and with a contract sum of app. 1 billion DKK.
• Adviser for a contractor in various disputes about extension of time and extra work on two major prison projects
• Adviser for a municipality in a dispute about deficiencies in lighting control equipment and software for street lighting
