Polaris has acquired a majority shareholding in Contour Design. Contour Design was founded in 1995 and is a pioneer in ergonomic mouse and keyboard solutions with patented products, e.g. RollerMouse, Unimouse and Balance Keyboard.
Polaris Private Equity was founded in 1998 and is a leading Nordic private equity fund investing in mid-sized companies.Their headquarter is based in Copenhagen. To date, Polaris has completed more than 80 add-on investments and invested in 43 companies. Currently, Polaris owns 13 companies with a total revenue of EUR +1bn.
Polaris will form a partnership with the management team and founder of Contour Design, Steven Wang.
