Lundgrens assists Kering in its acquisition of Lindberg

Lundgrens is pleased to have assisted Kering Eyewear, part of Kering Group, in its acquisition of high-end Danish eyewear brand, Lindberg.

Lindberg was founded by optician Poul-Jørn Lindberg and his wife in Denmark in 1969. Lindberg is a high-end Danish eyewear brand with more than 750 employees in more than 100 countries. 

Kering Eyewear was founded in 2014 and has since then grown to a size in the market with close to €600 million wholesale external revenues pre-Covid.

Kering Eyewear is part of the Kering Group, a global luxury group which develops an ensemble of luxury houses in fashion, leather goods, jewellery and watches. Kering Eyewear offers eyewear for a number of brands such as Gucci, Cartier, Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, Chloé, Alexander McQueen, Montblanc, Boucheron, etc.

In a press release, Roberto Vedovotto, President and CEO of Kering Eyewear, says: “We are thrilled to welcome Lindberg into the Keering Eyewear family. Lindberg is the absolute luxury eyewear and it will come as a perfect complement to the brand portfolio that Kering Eyewear has been assembling since 2014”.
